Hello there, fellow authors. Welcome to my little gallery where I post sketches and artwork of my story and my characters.

Here is my first for this thread.

A portrait of Herald and Nathan in mirror image. Couldn't really capture the '100% identical vibe because I can't really do 'vertical mirror' like on a tablet'.
Graphite on Rough Paper, scanned with PDF app on smartphone.
Tools used: Pentel Sharplet 0.5, Pilot Shaker 0.7, generic 2B pencil, blank side of a printed paper

Composition Practice: A vanishing point, dividing the body into separate segments, then connecting the lines.

My first experimental Pokemon fanfic. (I didn't know posting two times in one go will combine the posts into one.)

I'm curious now, how long did it take you to make that long fan-fic panel?

Dynamic Pose and Anatomy Practice. Using the Number of Heads concept to divide the body and angling the shoulders and hips to create "dynamism".

Never knew such small tweaks can change the feel of a drawing so much.

Done using: Pentel Sharplet 0.5 with Pilot 2B lead, generic 2B pencil and eraser and rough paper.

I have come up with two versions of cover art for the 2nd arc of my story.

I wanted to capture Natalie's dilemma in separating Herald from her brother, in finally accepting Herald as himself and not Nathan. Not that in the story she demanded Herald be Nathan, but Nathan's ghost had always been there. The second arc is where both of them accepts the reality of how their relationship began and choose to build something on that foundation.

Version 1 is done digitally.

Version 2 is where I combine my pencil art of Herald and Nathan with the digital art of Natalie superimposed over it. I wanted to use the grainy nature of the pencil work to visualize Natalie's internal landscape.

Which do you think is better?

One because you will have an easier time compressing it without distorting the art too much.
Let's ask @TheKillingAlice for their opinion, they are good at this stuff.

Since I was summoned, I will throw in my two cents:

The first, because of the technical difficulties. The other one would be squished until unrecognizable.
If you cut them up and reassemble them, it would be a different matter though. :blob_cookie:
