This is the cover art for Heraldry: The Sapphire Among Vines, Act III. It features Herald and Natalie in the foreground. Herald is a Wingly and Natalie is a Felid. In the background, on the right is the Wingly Kaelev (or Kaelen), Herald's guardian. The masked man is the traitor Sanballat, who betrayed Herald's father. Caught in the middle are Natalie's friends and parents: Sylvester, Moy, Morgan and Ollette.

Sketch: The Boy who Lost His Wings

This is a sketch of a time between the Prologue and Chapter 1. This is Herald sitting alone on the boulder. He lost his wings and identity after a tragic incident he called the Reddest Night. Now, he sits alone on a boulder in a deep jungle, mourning the life that could have been.

I am trying to capture the aftermath of grief after losing something that is your birthright and being reduced to something lesser than what you originally were. This scene is the quiet after the loss, the tears and the wailing. The feather is the lost link to the past.

Does it have that grieving, melancholy vibe?
