My greatest error has to be,

"Even reckless Ulrich, with his gun But the mirth died quickly in my throat as Ulrich barked an order to the guards posted on either side of the door that led to the lock-up."

I sometimes jump back to rewrite a sentence that I did not like. And sometimes, I forget to finish said rewrite because I get distracted. I meant to write, "with his gung-ho attitude," but left it as above when I posted it. Of course, I was called out for this hilarious error, which is made all the funnier because Ulrich is a horse sheriff.

Mine was on my latest chapter, where it took me a whole day to realize my mistake when I used Grammarly to add missing commas.

"Theo chuckled, sheathing his sword with his cape, swaying with the same indifferent breeze that brought light to their suffering."

It didn't seem anything was wrong until I fed it through a text-to-speech tool. Essentially, I made him sound like he telepathically used his cape to sheath his sword. ?
