Fun Question: If you had to be reincarnated as a character from your book (not the MC), who would it be?

If you had to be reincarnated as a character from one of your books, not the protagonist, who would it be and why? You would experience all the events that occurred in your book.
And who is one character you would not choose to be and why?

In my story there's a knight Commander called Kory, who's met his god passed their trial and lives the good life and controls a non corrupt police force and has an Orc wife. I'd reincarnate as him even though he isn't the strongest but is still strong in my verse.

There's some good options.
Ruyilong would be power gaming.
Xiang Jingyi would just be fun cuz she is the best.

Not to be is a tough choice, but of existing characters most likely Chen Yanshou.

Of characters I’ve actually introduced? Definitely Break-Neck Jerry. He’s a reasonably skilled necromancer doing freelance work as a resurrection specialist until he can retire.

Even the thing that terrifies him most, the chance of his old master finding him, is drastically less of an issue than he thinks it is. She’s mostly just fucking with him; she knows exactly where he is and likes watching him cower in a slum. I just need to keep doing what he’s doing and I’m probably fine.

Can you tell me the title of the series you are talking about.

Are talking about the story in your signature or another one? If it' another one, can you tell me the name.

Kinda of a hard question... especially so since a lot of my favorite side characters are women. Not that that's *really* a problem for a reincarnation, but still. Also, a lot of my characters either live in crapsack worlds, lead crapsack lives, or else lead crapsack lives in crapsack worlds.

Anyway, hmm... I... think I'm going to have to go with the fox-girl from my catgirl story. She's forcibly transformed, and then kidnapped, but the MC and the terminator bunny rescue her relatively quickly, then her life should go pretty okay after that. Otherwise, all the rest of my characters have too much responsibility, lmao.

Fun fact: I've kinda self-inserted the kind of person I want to become into a side character for one of my stories. Dude's got a lower upper office job, a caring wife he's scared of, and a cute kuudere daughter who cringes at his dad jokes. And in his free time, he plots the downfall of a regime that hasn't even started its coup d'etat yet.

Anyone young and healthy would do fine. Most of my characters don't have too many issues preventing them from growth and tapping into the magic system; it's mostly circumstances that screws with their lives.

The easy answer would be to use the deity whom my user account is the namesake of. Become the emperor of the gods and have the 9-tail kitsune, mirror-twin goddesses of the Sun and of the Moons and Stars as my wives, etc. Not a bad deal.

Skipping down to the mortal realms, maybe Ricardo. Retired adventurer, rich merchant, has a red-headed kitsune druid for a wife. Also father to one of the FMCs. And with events shaping up as they are, there is a path opening up for him to become demi-immortal (i.e. eternal youth, not unkillable).

Alternatively, father to the other FMC; Jhaeros and his wife Kaoru are half-elf alchemists with a nice shop and they have several kids, with Moriko (the FMC daughter) being the oldest.

I will just reincarnate to my diary, back in my original world and my older days.

Basically time travel via reincarnation. Heheheh

I like modern world too much. Medieval is badically just struggle here and there, and the worst part, youre still struggling even if youre a magic user or cultivator, even if you're son/daughter of a prince duke minister lord etc.

If I'm a freakin son/daughter of prince duke minister lord in modern world, im freaking rich and live without that much worry, whole enjoying far better lifestyle than those son/daughter of important people who live in older days, they're struggling really hard and worse than modern commoner despite their status.

Admiral Desha.

I am generally well-liked by my colleagues without having to be in the spotlight. I am good at my job and usually don't need to be involved in dangerous situations or hard choices. I am happily married, and even though my wife and I don't see each other often, we have a great long-distance relationship. Considering the grim world of my story, this is as good as it gets.

His neighbors' cat, Gin.

Its life is smooth sailing. Nothing bad happens to that cat.

And who is one character you would not choose to be and why?
Anyone involved with my protagonist who is not a cat or a kid.
If I had to choose one, it would be the fellow in the first chapter. He is in for a bad time.

Strange Awakening: Equinox (because he hooks up with Kelly) or Fez (because he's a freaking djinn).
Would not want to be? Hellhound - he's just the jobber's jobber and they're fun to read but would SUCK to be.

The Jack Diamond books: Alzol, the Death Demon - he's probably the most complex character in the stories; definitely a bad guy but not one of the worst.
The only character I would not want to be is Jack, really - he's fun to write but that guy has so much crap happen to him...

Digital Cowboy: Matt Sievert. He gets to see a lot of what happens but not the worst of it - or Ken Ellis because he's a bit of an Everyman who also gets to see most of the action and even take part in some of it.
Would not want to be ... well, he hasn't shown up yet but Donald Jones. Guy has the worst luck with his Travelers.

True Blue: Probably either of the two FBI agents (especially if I ever write down their other adventures); would be easier to be the guy but either one would be kind of cool.
Would not want to be any of the real bad guys there.

Between Worlds: Probably Malcolm for both his special ability and hooking up with Audrey.
Wound not want to be Uncle Mike for probably obvious reasons (though he would be fun while he lasts).

Casey Rivers.
Why? Her life was matching my own at one point and the way she turns out is very good. A mega happy ending over the course of two books.
She's not afraid of just saying "Fuck" when necessary. Just an overall fun character that I didn't anticipate. She was just a random addition to Vivienne and it went from there.
