I'm getting the urge of replaying Black Mesa. Also, patiently biding my time when I get my own VR rig so I can finish Half-Life: Alyx.
(I'm aware there's a non-VR mod for the game, but I don't want to play solely for the story; I want the curated experience too.)

True story, Gordon Freeman was my first childhood hero. Not Superman, not Batman, not Luke Skywalker, or the like; it was an ordinary (smart) guy in a high-tech hazmat armor with a plain utility tool and a silent attitude. Cooler than even Agent 47, imo.

Child Emperor turns around and peers at him while sucking on a lolly pop.

Gordan looks very confused and spins around a lot. He scratches his head.

Child Emperor takes out his lolly pop, "What are you doing here?"

Gordan points at his throat to indicate he is a mute.

Child Emperor gives a iPad to used. He types, "I have no idea. I was messing around with a transdimentional collapsatron in A secret Government Run Base called Black Mesa and now I'm here. Where I am?"

Long conversation takes place where Chld Emperor wants to understand how extradimentional travel works and helps Gordan by giving him access to his labratories and Gordan and Child Emperor work on how to do extrdimentional travel shit.

Child Emperor's Labratory is in Y-City, not in A-City, so they wouldn't meet in A-City. Child Emperor would only be in A-Cty if he was forced to or their was an emergency becuase he basically has no faith in adults anymore. He is a loner because of his increasing paranoia.
