What are some good fanfics that you'd recommend?

I think it's name is Grand foreigner found it on WN. If you like overlord and/or FATE it's great, it's quite long and takes its time to explain thing properly and the characters are truly well portrayed on their own way. I recommend it.

I'd say Snowbound, but I'm pretty sure you can read only five first chapters for free. (Acutally I'm not sure if it qualifies as fanfiction? Correct me if I'm wrong, cause it might not. Though it's a really good story either way.)
Oni in MHA is pretty good as well, though you need to know MHA to understand just about anything there.
Apart from that... dunno. Hard to find a good fanfic, unfortunately, cause most experienced authors prefer to write original stories.

I wanted to write a funny response, but somewhere in the middle, I stopped. Even if I make a fool out of myself, you probably won't find it funny.
ah a failed jest i thought you were exclusively reading your fanfics from AO3 or FanFiction.net, which would explain your response.

even the brightest of optimists would face despair from the murky cesspool that is those sites.

the shit suburban white women with unrestricted internet access think of.

jesus.

Where do you look for your fanfics, good sir?

If I had two to recommend, they would be Airship Down and the Mountains of Madness, an Avatar fanfic with heavy Lovecraft elements (the original Lovecraft experience, not what most write about him).
And When Life Gives You Lemons, an alternative Portal story with a Worm character and a whole new lore. It has SCP feels and is delightful to read.

Those two are what I could recommend as excellent stories. You still kind of need to know Avatar: The Last Airbender and Portal 2 if you want to appreciate them to their true worth though.
