I just found out about a Firefox addon that allows you to filter your youtube search results but it was outdated and very old now. Since youtube showed no like/dislike ratio on the search result, it is infuriating that I sometimes got ambushed by a fucking spam video. There was also no function to filter out the search results. This addon allows me to blacklist a channel that I knew is just spamming content I don't like and remove it from my search result.

What I want to ask is, do you use something similar?

This might be helpful regarding other matters, but I couldn't unfortunately find a way to hide channels from search results—home, sure. You can use 'Don't recommend me this channel' feature for this, but I don't know helpful it is going to be. Anyhow, to implement them, open ublock origin settings and copy and paste the required configuration in my filters tab.

Hasn't youtube already added such a feature? I have already blacklisted channels and videos without addon.
Beside the 'Don't recommend me this channel' and 'not interested' features? From my experience, the former doesn't hide the channel completely, although it indeed does lower the frequency. I can't unfortunately do further testing since I don't own a Google account anymore.

It hides the channels from recommendation in your home page but when you search, the channel's videos will appear in your search result. I want to not see them in the search result too.
