So I read a little bit of this, and I'm not sure if it's written in the past tense or the present tense. Just a fair warning, some light novels on this website are poorly written English translations of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese ones.

Well, hm... I guess I could help you catch the tense errors you have, but only in chapter 1.
One way to do it too is to use a search engine in Word if you use it that is, I am not sure about google doc. But in Word, you can search for singular words like Is, or do.
Might take me a bit but I will point out your tenses in chapter 1 since I already did that in your prologue. :blob_happy: I'll DM you with the things I catch.
I haven't used Word before. I only use Google Docs oftentimes. Whenever I use Grammarly, it'll tell me a grammatical tense issue, but I find it very complicated.

Just from a quick look from the link you showed me it is in past tense. At least the first 2 paragraphs.

This is where practice makes perfect. Trail and error is the best way to learn even when things confuse you.:blob_melt:

Past tense highlight the result of an action. "he picked an apple" is more about the apple already in his hand. Stories are written in the past tense to make them feel more rewarding in some cases, and add a sense of immediacy.

Present tense highlights the action itself. "he picks an apple" is now more about him bending down and picking up said apple. Stories are written in the present tense to add suspense to the story and "in the moment" feel.

Choose whatever is more applicable to yours and stick with it.
