Yeah, but if you followed Fahrenheit, you would never confuse 80° with 90°
You know, you're goddamn right it doesn't have to be.
Till the time you are cute, everything is forgiven

Why? Kelvin is really good for science, but I can't see an advantage over Celsius for everyday life
Because Celsius is bound by a mortal necessity that is water. And Kelvin is based on a law of the universe, making it obviously superior.

Though tbh where I'm from our weather ranges anywhere from good for hot coffee to good for hot coffee

Mostly °C is used here in PH so it's easy and simple to us.

PH?
India uses Fahrenheit as well, and so does Canada.

We use Celsius for all official purposes, but we use Fahrenheit to measure body temperature as,
98 is ok
99 is fever
100 is take the day off.

Quite a easy to remember scale
104 your brain is going to fucking explode, get in the ice bath “But *sniff* *Cocks gun* get in my boy or die another way

fuck your wack ass calculation systems

you stick your hand in and guess by feel. if the skin is peeling off, it's safe to say it's probably a bit warm.

But you see, this is about temperature for regular everyday uses and perhaps a few unusual circumstances. If there was no water in everyday life, there would be more than just the issue of measuring temperature.

And while Kelvin is superior from a scientific standpoint, since so many equations require you to convert Celsius to Kelvins, I'm not trying using ideal gas laws when I just want to know how skimpy I can dress outside.

I use, hot or cold. Wish there was a reading that says just right hot or cold. Everything else is imaginary numbers.

The girls wearing ripped jeans and crop tops in negative Celsius weather would disagree.
You don't know what girls all do for the style. Their hands are freaking cold I tell you. Make it till break it.

Nah, they ain't even shivering or showing other signs of being cold.

Granted, I've seen guys in booty shorts in the same weather. These people just roleplaying DnD barbarians at this point.

Btw, I do know there was a reason for choosing the numbers in Farenheit, but I honestly forgot them.

Can anyone remind me of what 0 and 100 are in Farenheit? I'm pretty sure both numbers are meaningful, but I forgot why exactly.
