Eyes are "windows of the soul", but can you tell anything when you look?

To me those are just eyes, and I don't really understand what they can say about a person.

Well the appearance of someone can be used to judge the personality. I would grab a paper for it, but my internet is bad right now.
Eyes aren't the same, but you can judge a lot of someones thoughts based on their eyes and expressions you can read from them.

Also, similar to how names nurture personality, I would think eye colour also has an effect. (Not anywhere near enough to represent a window to their soul though...)

It's just another type of body language. If you know what you look for, you can tell how someone is feeling by watching their eyes since they're one of the hardest parts of your body to learn to control. If they're having trouble making eye contact, they might be lying and feeling guilty about it. Or they might be like me and just hate making eye contact in general.
