My first book is coming to a close this Saturday, and I am getting the jitters! Book 2 is starting soon after and I feel so happy about it!

Does anyone else feel like this when they finish a part of the story? :blob_aww: Or is it like a sad moment one never wants to come?

I am excited to see how my readers interact with the fresh changes to book 2! Jitters!:blob_melt: Maybe I could melt. This heat surely wants me to.

Congratulations! I've got maybe 4 more chapters to post before I'm done with my first book, myself. I'll probably start feeling things a day after publishing it, strong emotions always feel like they're on a delay for me.

I don't have the focus to finish a book. Instead, I'll write several chapters in one, then get distracted by another. Hopefully I'll eventually make enough progress so that people know what each one is going for. Even if I don't actually finish any.

i've finished a volume for two stories, each. My feelings? Nothing special, but I'm glad i use those as an excuse to fuck off for a while. its a bit different for each story, tho. Because my most popular one is kinda a weird story. It READS like a webnovel, know what i mean? You wont find it in a barnes and noble, feel me?

Meanwhile my other story that i finished a volume for is a romance smut/erotica novel, and despite it not being very popular at all i can imagine it in a smut section of some bookstore somewhere. Its nothing special I think that second story just feels more like a "real" novel, is what I'm saying. If i saw it on a library's erotica section, i wouldn't question it.

Not really something to be proud of, exactly, but i do like how it has that feel to it.That among trashy erotica, it'll fit right in.

I am sure your story isn't trashy at all.~ :blob_aww: I bet it is great!

I use writing as an escape. So, I don't think I will fuck off after I am done with book 3. But I get what you are saying. A vacation to do other stuff!:blob_hide:

:blob_melt:Hmm, I think I know what you mean.

I think I have seen weirder things in that store!:blob_happy:

well, I finished my novel's first volume just days ago, and though it's satisfying, it's more like relief, that I can finally take a break from all the writing.

still, I can't deny that feeling of happiness that comes when I think of all the efforts I put, being put together to create a whole volume, with prologue and epilogue. and more than 66-K word, you know?

I've finished well over two dozen stories already. I'm always excited to finish a story because then I can move onto another one and new ideas are always exciting to start writing

This would require me to get past the "ideas" stage.
Brainstorm with someone! Maybe you will get past it! Also, sometimes it is good to write the first chapter~ Maybe from there, you will just carry on. :blob_melt:

Congrats! It's always exciting to finish a book because now you can finally show something off, sit back, and tell yourself "I've made it."

Not much jitters because I don't have many readers anyway, but more of excitement to show those readers the finished product and get feedback.

Wrong problem.

I have plenty of ideas, but am horrible about trying to write them down.
