So, I read somewhere that werewolves were probably inspired from hyenas.
And, it's understandable.

I mean, imagine walking through woods, seeing a weird dog, and he says-
"Hehehehehehehe"
Yeah, that's definitely demonic dog.
And that somehow changed to werewolf.

So...do the same?
Like, I turned and accidentally dropped a glass of water. Must be a gnome, one who likes to prank people by sneaking up on them and breaking glasses.

Or, a dog with infinite appetite of paper, who eats the homework of little kids?

There are dogs that eat paper. My dog eats literally everything, he even had to get his stomach cut open from eating so much mulch out of the flower beds it got stuck.

No no no, I didn't fall asleep during work. It was pixies who sprinkled sleeping powder.

Yeah, that's right. It was not because I stayed up all night watching anime, it was because there are magical pixies in the office. They sprinkle the hapless victim with sleep powder so they can steal our donuts. Yeah, that's why we ran out of donuts, I just took one, I swear.

They also steal pants from time to time and I was an unfortunate victim this time around, that's why I brought an extra pair that is hanging in the cubicle wall. See, I'm prepared for these pixies.

Yeah, I'm sure it was thieves, or brownies, or any kind of mischievous creature. Because it's definately not me taking them off during work hours due to my own definition of what "casual friday" means.

I told you I’m not good at this game. I’m just lucky.
Not even lady luck is on my side cuz girls aren’t into me.
I’m not a pro. If asked, I would say I’m more of a troll.

Only problem with that is werewolves originate in Europe and hyenas are from Africa.

The word werewolves is indeed from europe, but every culture has something similar. Like witches, though the word witch is english, every culture has a demonic woman with magic powers.

interesting. learned a new mythological creature today - werehyneas. cool and thanks. would check it out more.
agentt probably just meant to tell something and then exaggerate it so much that it sounds completely different from what it originally was about.

once upon a time, an archaeologist saw a cave with many paintings on a wall. they called their two other buddies to look. being so old, it seemed pretty faded and some lines were slashed over it. one theorized that it was talking about how there once were werebeasts that turned humans and turned around and killed the beast that couldn't turn into human. the second one think they saw an alien spaceship coming in to absorb both beats and humans and take them up to the skies above. and the third just theorized it looked like the painting was of a human peeing in the bush after having a huge feat of meat. suddenly they got caught up in a sound. large human-sized bats came out of nowhere and swooped them up and ate them. the bats were from the alien spaceship that crashed on earth. now they gain the human ability to talk and studied how to disguise themselves as humans.

actually, the origin of werewolf are probably warriors who were wearing wolf and animal skin to battle
