Sure, if you include "I really wish this story existed" as a wish to be fulfilled. But if you're doing that, everything but the most mercenary work-for-hire is wish fulfillment.

taboo fetishes are usually a hit, if you can find a place to post them without them being removed. Incest usually has the easiest time (as long as everyone is of age and consents), and as such, it gets the top spot.

But general rule of thumb, supply and demand. Incest has the easiest time finding a home, so while it is most popular, it's also got the largest supply. On the far other end of the spectrum, scat has hardly any supply but also very little demand. That said, a scat story is more likely to get a larger percentage of available readers - but there are many lines even I flat-out refuse to cross.

You can also look at pop culture. Incest is so popular that it's a common trope in anime, TV, books, web novels, etc. Again, on the other end, scat is so hated that it was a common "prank" to get your friends to see a specific video back in the 2000s while also being on the lookout to avoid being duped into seeing it yourself. But in both cases, it's common and only acceptable to claim hatred while keeping one's interests secret.

Just as in art, you've got to find the line you won't cross figure out how to get the best portion of the available readers in that. I've got 2 stories that are lite-incest and they're more popular chapter-by-chapter than my other stories that aren't incest related in the least.

Foot fetish, while hated, isn't considered a "taboo" fetish. Same with BDSM. Which is what I was restricting my list to. Things that are considered "wrong", not just "weird".

From what I've seen, I'd (sadly) put loli over bestiality for popularity. I could honestly make a case for over incest even. people are disgusting for even considering underage shit like that arousing, though that might be a tiny bit hypocritical from me considering how far in i am with like submissive/dubcon stuff... anyhow my kinks don't matter here.

My opinion on how i would list taboo fetishes is probably Loli/shota, noncon/dubcon, incest, bestiality, slavery, watersports, gore, snuff/necro, scat.

I added in a few other categories too but yeah. don't ask why i know this stuff. I know some demented people.

All fetishes are popular, but its the uncommon ones that'll make you a bunch of commission money. Make an incest story, and you compete with hundreds of thousands of artists and authors. Make a belly-button worship fetish story, and you'll only compete with a few hundred artists and authors.
