Eligibility for Trending of a new story

I just recently uploaded a new story and currently on day five. Doing really well with decent views, but still not showing anywhere on trending. Does a story have to be active for a week before you can hit trending?

Don't worry about it man,but from my analysis to get on trending you must have upper trend on your novel or Atleast reach 2500 view Threshold.

In my experience, nothing matters. Neither the views, comments, ratings, reviews or favourites - they all are pointless.
I am convinced getting to trending is done by sacrificing some sort of animal.
I have tried offering most local fauna to the gods of writing, but so far nothing - despite doing fairly well, and in some cases, better than the trending stories.

That's A Forbidden Question.

You have to be under 2k Readers and have a rise in readership.

This means stories under 2k readers keep bouncing back onto trending. Some have been doing it for months lol.

Don't expect to hit trending. Myself amongst many have tried and few can reach that goal, fewer so can sustain it and see their stories on trending repeatedly. Also, just because your work is trending doesn't mean it will get popular. Some stories just get more views for that day but receive little progress to favorites or followers.

Try to focus on your work for now. I know the trending title is appealing but the harder you focus on accomplishing that, the more tiring writing gets to be. It's not a healthy goal.
