It might work if he were a backlit silhouette with an awesome voice, but yeah on its own it’s kinda a nothing message.

That said, I have very mixed feelings whenever I get a “thanks for the chapter” comment. I get my hopes up for feedback and it’s… thanks for the chapter. Like. I’m glad they liked it, but I always feel better if there’s something to sink my teeth into on a comment.

Expecting people to read reviews on an amateur site is laughable, its almost as bad as using their rating system as a metric for how good a story is

Huh, I've received that exact message on my Penana PMs. It was a scammer who was trying to get me to commission AI illustrations for the story.
