One author is deliberately dropping stories and marking them as complete, with the remaining portion on Patreon only
Do you mean Dictatelion or someone else? Hey @Gwydion86, our incest author is at it again.
Additionally, all of them would violate Patreon's terms but I'm not going to be the one to rat on them.
This really does sound like Dictatelion (Patreon has a strict anti-incest policy, not even step-siblings not related by blood are allowed).

Report them both here and on patreon, if you have proof.
It's not against the rules here to post half of a story here and post the other half elsewhere. The only thing that ScribbleHub prohibits is not posting the chapter completely (cutting out scenes and stuff from the chapters). I also wouldn't report him on Patreon because as much as he screws over his readers, Patreon screws over creators much more often. I wouldn't help Patreon on their censorship campaign.

Im aware of that, but the post i quoted made it sound like it was a bunch of translations which are.

Thoughts on how many authors just seem to drop their stories or even drop off the site?
I am about to just give up reading any stories with less than 50 chapters.,
Lately it seems like more than half the stories I read just get dropped after two to five chapters, usually with no warning. Add to that numerous stories getting deleted by the author I feel like I am wasting my time getting invested in new stories.
I took a year long break due to real life.
Not to mention if they don't gain traction, get reader feedback, or a number of different things, they may lose interest in what they are writing, or think there is no interest in their story so why are they wasting their time.
Also this ^ my story may show a good number of views, but that's mostly in the beginning chapters. Seems readers drop interest quick, and the like ratio follows. Comments are very very rare for me to receive, and then other stories similar to mine were given more positive feedback and even reviews.

1 year break and I still can't figure out if I'm worth being called a writer :/

I grew up on fanfiction so I'm used to getting invested in a story and then being left eternally on a cliffhanger

Someone else. I'm definitely not going to help Patreon's proxy censorship campaign even though I'm upset that the author is treating SH as an ad billboard.

It could also be lack of motivation once an author sees that people aren't really vibing with their story, they'll probably just delete it.
