Probably would remain out of it. I'm a farmer, after all. The only thing I'd care about on a regular basis is my farm, my family, and my little town. Maybe my merchant buddies that I sell food too and any other connections. If the Dragons are willing to help with the farming, then sure I'd pick them. If the Gods are willing to help, then I'd go with them.

As an individual with land and a purpose, it's not who I choose- it's what they can offer me. If they cannot offer me anything worthwhile to earn my favor or my side, then I'm good. Faith and belief doesn't put food on the table.
