Like you make a first version of a chapter then you revise it multiple times
Ah, okay. Most of my stuff is first draft. Now, I do change things as I'm writing the document, if a sentence doesn't work, I'll backspace or whatever, but I don't do that constantly. I write like 2,000 words an hour, so I'm not really "revising" the chapter. And I certainly don't save multiple drafts of chapters.
Sometimes, and this is a little bit rare, I'll be thinking of the chapter I wrote while I'm away from the keyboard, and I'll be like, "It would be so good if this was in there." So I'll go put it in real quick. I never, and I NEVER, change the story that requires rewriting of previous material. Life is too short. It's just not worth it. And besides, I'm way too lazy for that. ; )
