Basically Zorn is declining donations and don't monetize the work. Not everyone like that. There are people aiming to get into RS just so they can have more exposure for their novel and more patrons.

This means people who want to support Zorn by tipping should use the money to help others instead.

TLDR: Altruism has no place on the internet. Salty people are jealous because there is one person who have what they want which is a position in RS. And that person don't use the position for its "intended use" (to make money)
