The title is serious, kind of. Let me explain the situation.

On November 7, known as N7 for Mass Effect fans, it was announced that Amazon is starting to produce a live-action adaptation of the games. ( I am a very big fan of the franchise). With that announcement came excitement, as I read one of the producers was connected with the games. But I realized something: our timeline and the curse.

The timeline we live in is one where producers and directors push their political, gender, and various other agendas down our throats. We have seen this in various series over the past few years, and honestly, it infuriates me quite a bit. While it’s okay to want your voice to be heard, there’s a better way to do it than destroying what other people love just to showcase your message. Promote your message in the series that YOU created, not in something that already has an established fanbase who love the original work.

Everyone knows that they would never do this because they know it would fail spectacularly, but we can hope, seeing as one of the Producers was connected with the games. Finger crossed, but at this point, nothing would surprise me.

Then there’s the curse that affects all video game adaptations, with only a few exceptions that have escaped its wrath.

It was then that it hit me: I can help, at least with the first part. Maybe it’s arrogance, or perhaps I’m just a delusional fan willing to go this far to save my favorite game from bad writing, but it’s something weighing on my mind.

So, does anyone know someone deep in Amazon? I can send my curriculum: I have written 4 fanfics totaling 500,000 words in two years; I’m willing to work for free. I'm handsome ( trust me), and I don't really push my opinions on others.

In other words, I'm the perfect candidate. Now, I just need to be hired!

AMAZOOOONNNNN, NOTICE MEEEEEEEEE;;;;;; BEZOOOOSSSSSSSS, I'M BEGGIGGSIGSNNGINGGGG YOUUU!!!!

And I'm already adding this to a "Do Not Watch" list. Amazon has had ZERO wins with their television/film escapades. Mostly because they refuse to follow established lore, a very widespread problem in today's era of egocentric directors and film/show writers.

Yeah, I'm the same. It's 90% of chances the show is going to be shit. The others 10% is hope.

Instead of writing fanfics you have to start writing actual books that people like and purchase. Then you'll have some experience that they could consider, maybe. But there's probably 100.000 more authors like you who are like a thousand times better.
I have never played Mass Effect nor I care about it though, I think from the very first game that it looked like some western sci-fi slop that never appealed to me.
Actually there isn't a single western game that is good and they've never been good, play japanese games like a true chad or gtfo

I am afraid you get a wrong message from the Rings of Power. Dark Lord Jeff Bezos may be bane to everything that is good, but doesn't like Fan Fiction per se. Not to mention Bioware are perfectly capable of ruining their franchise without your assistance.
