We all know Scribbly isn't the only website to read stories online. It's a derivative of Novelupdates so I expected some of us have been there before.

Do you read original stories from other sites? Fanfictions don't count.

In wattpad, I do. But I enjoy translated novels when in chrome. Wattpad could barely satisfy my want to read.

That overpowered friend on webnovel. It has good comedy, action scenes, conflicts, romance. And it's just a good fun to read, although it's not finished yet.

Yeah, I have a list of sites that I go to every few days to find some new stuff.

I don't really read on this site. I read on Royalroad, it has better user experience, and the novels there are more to my taste.
I mostly use scribblehub for it's forum, and i post my story here because there is no reason not to.

DeviantArt andTapas, both have massively huge novel and short story sections... bigger than the comic sections of either of them. You're missing out if you thought they did not have text stories. I think DeviantArt's novel and short story section has more novels then Scribble Hub, Tapas, and Royal Road combined. It is one of the oldest web novel hosting websites on the internet after all. I've been read and posting web novels on DeviantArt since 2004. And Tapas is my fave web novel reading site because it has the internet's largest database of Yaoi web novels. I've never read a webtoon in my life, yet DeviantArt and Tapas are where I read the most often.

I am a terrible reader on ANY site, hence why I try not to scrounge for attention, because I definitely won't reciprocate :-P. But for writing, the book I am positing is my first ever one, so I am putting it on SH, RR, WP and Inkitt, just to see how they all fare, and what I like and dislike about each of the communities.

So far SH's forums are a big pro, and weirdly, I have more reads here than on the bigger sites (although it is very early days).

Project Gutenberg is good when I don't feel like spending money on classical works.

That really kind of depends on the story you're writing vis-a-vis the preferences of the site. And looking at your story, that's definitely for SH. I have no idea what's up with Wattpad nowadays after they nuked their forums and went insane.

Yeah, as a relative newbie, the lack of any forums on Wattpad really confuses me. I know a lot of it was probably just full of shameless self-promotion, but it does make that whole site feel very... cold?

Yeah, on rr and as of recently, also on honeyfeed. There is also one or two authors I follow on their personal websites, and I sometimes check out stuff on roleplaying forums(yes they have original work sections).

Last but not least, I read translated Japanese light novels on various sites such as novelupdates. Tho if an official translation is available, I just buy it on kindle or wherever it's available.

I met some really cool writers on webnovel. But unless you know people there personally, don't go there. Because good stories are buried by contract trash.

I mostly read mangas nowadays. When I read novels, it's usually because I'm translating them for my job... >.>
