Today, I have been surprised and have learned.

no, i have, i've just never been caught. Once, i did it in class while i was in a corner seat. But im not quite so crazy enough to do it in a location between to of the most populated areas of the school with various window that can see me due to a heightened elevation. I was a pretty well liked dude and related to half the school so if a person saw me smoking pot, nothing happened. I dont think that they'd extend the same turning of the cheek and feigned obliviousness if they caught me stroking one out, though. I mean i GUESS i could've covered myself but i never liked jerking myself while under a blanket or sheet.

I think it's fine, unless someone else who is a fellow reader knows what the book is and what you're reading, and then it depends on how embarrassed you'd be being caught reading it. I haven't encountered a situation where someone reads what I am reading (over the shoulder), or looks up a book I am reading. Honestly, most people wouldn't know or care I would say. Reading books is different from watching videos.

I don't read in public. I read in unpopular stairwells and odd hours. Music building stairwell C at 6pm is especially relaxing.
