I did, but it got too expensive. Bing Ai is free. I recommend that.

I just tried Nijijourney. Depending on how much you want to pay, you can get unlimited generation. It's easy to use, you can use existing image to use as base reference. Once you have generated an image you can select area in it and change it, like bad hand or hair, etc...

I use Midjourney and Dreamup (Dream up is mostly for anime, and I don't pay for it. I have 100 renders every two weeks because I pay DeviantArt to protect my AI pictures from being stolen. To discourage theft, I even started to post the prompts under the picture. No idea if I should feel honored that someone will steal an AI picture made in 1–2 minutes, or if I should laugh until my sides hurt. I am leaning towards the latter.)

I used to fiddle around with SeaArt. Still do sometimes. Might get around to it if I want to start putting illustrations on my next book

I am not a frequent user of AI so I really don't know which would be best for me. A subscription where I might spend 1-2 hours per month on those AIs is a real waste.

Co-pilot has dall-e built into it. So, prompt based AI images is free with that.

I don't pay any AI image generator. The free one I used:
AIHentai.ai - For NSFW anime character generation, using tags, but limited free creation each day.
ZMO.ai - For SFW anime, only 30 free credits gift, optional models.

I use the former most when I want a basic role for reference, and I don't need to think about complex prompts. If I want to view different styles, I will go to the second one. But a pity it cannot make sexy characters.

I use Promptus AI its free and I earn credits for sharing my GPU compute (which isn't much) but everybit counts.

I use ComfyUI or Forge with PonyDiffusion. Needs a decently chunky graphics card though (8gb min).
