Do you like (as select like) your own chapters?

I did it exactly thrice from the hundred chapters that are out.
The number 13 irritates me to no end. Three chapters had 13 favourites for the longest time, and I just couldn't take it.
Otherwise no... It just feels... I don't know. I am in a position where my single like doesn't change the total amount by much.
And I have seen stories with a single favourite on every chapter.
At that moment, I thought it was sad more than anything else.
Not that I mind the notion in general. I did rate my own story.

no, but I don't think there's anything wrong with self-favoriting either.

Clicking the like button? Nope. But I also loathe some of my writing.

I forget to heart other people's chapters as well as mine, to be honest. I don't even really rate my stories. When they are uploaded, they always have a blank star rating.

Wait, that's a lie. I did rate the two stories I posted here. :blob_hmm_two::blob_dizzy:

Yes, I like the chapters that I personally love above all others. A chapter where a character says something important about himself, a fight that is too important, where they give a revelation that will change the plot, even just because the idea of the chapter is pretty good.

I mean, if the story I'm writing is for myself, why wouldn't I enjoy it as a reader? from memory I can point to chapter 181 of my novel, I wrote it myself, I know it by heart and I still like to read that one chapter from time to time.
