So, something funny happened yesterday...
I was cooking, or at least I thought I was. The problem? I forgot to add spices to any of the dishes. Now, I only know how to make three meals, and somehow, I managed to ruin all of them. With no one else at home to save me, I just sat on the sofa for 40 minutes, staring at the wall, wondering what to do with my life.
And then, out of nowhere, my childhood crush's mom showed up at my house. My mom, being the helpful parent she is, had apparently asked her to check if I was doing okay alone. I panicked—I couldn’t let her see the full extent of my culinary failure. I greeted her, trying my best to usher her out of the house as quickly as possible.
But as a true housewife, she naturally wandered around and found out.
Anyway, that’s a story for another day.
