Do you have villain who is the cause of everything in the protagonist’s life?

Merlin. However, in his defense, the protagonist went back in time and screwed with Merlin till he went mad but I swear, the protagonist didn't start it.

Yes. The destruction of the civilization of the Ancient Ones? His fault. The decline of the Jogariquan(the Ancients descendants)? His fault. The presence of Jogariquan on the human world? His doing. The collapse of most of the human countries, loss of most technology and the rise of the two new world powers? His doing. Genetically mutating humans so they can be shaped via magic? Him. Nearly apocalyptic reshaping of the world and the death of billions? His plan.

All because he got upset that, as is normal for his race, as he aged, his magic was starting to decline. He couldn't bear the thought of no longer being at the pinnacle of power, and even worse, others using his works and legacy to achieve more than he did.

I don't plan to have the same villain for all of the story, but the main villain of the first (and second) saga has essentially provoked the protagonist to start her journey. But she is more conditioned by her friends than a villain.

Toshiaki (main antagonist) turned the entire school against Reina (main protagonist); Blackmailed her mother into disowning her; Manipulated her friends into hating her; Then doubled down and killed Reina's last lifeline in the VRMMO she played to escape her IRL problems; And while Reina's undergoing a breakdown, revealed to be a conniving psychopath who's secretly using her in his grand scheme to kill off an entire race and take over the country in the VRMMO world.

I have another villain who ruined the protagonist's life, but I'd rather not tell what she did.

No, not as such.

The group caused the issues that provoked the MMC's reaction that got him into his predicament at the beginning of my story.

Also, a minor protagonist is the inciting incident that led one of the two FMCs on the path that led her to the other two MCs and got the whole story rolling.

But, no, no one has deliberately interfered with any of the protagonist's life like that.

Yes. The main antagonist is the one who started the experimental program with goal of creating stronger super humans through changing DNA before the birth, which created mc and fmc. He is also the one who transfered them to government military program after the facility was destroyed in a raid, and though he never mentions it, he is their father.

Like how the Reverse Flash caused Barry Allen’s life turn upside down.
