I have a very fluffy dog, named Bear. His cute*mass stat is legendary. No 37kg dog deserves to be so cute.
Cool name, cute pet. Plus, he's extra fluffy, what else could you ask for? On an unrelated note, for some reason, that description reminded me of Bear, Doctor Mike's dog.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. Have a good day, and lots of pats for your Bear!

Back with an update for anyone still looking for inspiration in 2025. Always had cats, but last year adopted a dog that helped a lot with anxiety. For the housing paperwork, went the ESA letter route and turned to Wellness Wag.

We have three cats: one Ragdoll x, one Abyssinian x and one fella we fished out of a drain and two Alaskan Malamutes. Fluff everywhere.

Two cats, one orange, one buff. Orange one is crazy and tries to eat your arms and legs if you leave them within his reach. Buff one is scared of everything.

Hey, so, as the title said, what kind of pet do you have? If you have one, that is. If not, what kind of cool (cute) creature would you like to have as a companion? I like cats, dogs are cute too, I guess.

So, I stole this image from Reddit and this reminded me of pets. Do you think this could be true or this is just an usual make believe fact?

Also, speaking of companions, there is always this animal mascot type of character in many fantasy themed stories. For example, a cat familiar for witches, or a flying fluffy (psychopathic) pet for magical girls. I always thought that was so because otherwise the protagonist would be a little lonely, or maybe that was for monologue purpose. Like they talk to their companions about almost everything.
Got a catto. Tuxedo. He is black and white. Tried to post A picture but files are too large.

I have 6 cats and 3 dogs. Two of the cats weren't originally mine, they belonged to two different ex-girlfriends, but I ended up with them in the end so oh well. Four of the cats are related with three of them being siblings and the other being their uncle technically. I got the cats after I moved into the area. The 3 dogs I already had before I came here.

There are numerous feral cat colonies where I live, and they've been here from what I'm told, for more than a century so they are kind of a fact of life for the locals. Every once in a while someone moves in and complains about them and tries to call animal control to remove them, but those people are harassed by the locals into moving elsewhere. Nobody here likes newcomers showing up and trying to change the local ways and I have to say I agree with the sentiment. So I did the opposite, I showed up and started getting attached to a few of the kittens and now I have 9 pets instead of the original 3. All in-house pets. I spend upwards of 120$ a month just from cleaning supplies because of the messes they make, but I've always lived in a busy household so they have basically replaced my siblings in my childhood home that I had to semi-raise and clean up after.
