Do you find anime idol anime music cringe/strange? Do you like them?

I feel like some of the songs can be a little 'cringe' but not really. Do you like them? I for one think they're pretty alright. Some can be pretty bad but whatever. Idoly pride was nice.

... I find it difficult to group music the way other people do. I might just be tone deaf or something.
I googled Idoly Pride and got a 2 minute trailer. The song playing was nice. If I have one complaint, it's the random Engrish mixed in occasionally.

I listen to a lot of Vocaloid covers though. And Anime OP and ED covers.

If I listen to those songs in tandem with the shitty MMD dance models, yeah I'd say it's cringe.

The music itself? It's decent J-pop. Don't think much about it; just enjoy the song.

Yeah, I feel them cringe and strange. Specifically, the animation. But the music? It sounds good just right to me...

My reason for this strange feeling is because of the Karaoke JP animation that most often appears on the screen... That poses and bouncy acrobatics and cringe choreography are very disturbing...

This is especially true in old Karaoke machines. If only you know the terror...
Personally, I love the Opening music of anime so much better than idol performances

I don't find the music itself cringy, but when the animation is off, or the lip-syncing, it does bother me.

I feel it the same way as all other music. The beat and instrumentals are good enough to get me to like them. If not, maybe, just maybe I might pay attention if it's in a language that I even understand. Then I'll listen to what the lyrics are saying in a few months.

I am okay with it. Because it is telling me the story with not just the song's lyrics, as well as the live depiction of a love story between a dying woman or wacky rappers with guns pointing at the screen. It is fine, because then I can get a mental reinforcement when I relisten the song over and over again. An example is Eren's Founding Titan transformation and The Rumbling when I set The Rumbling in loop, it is cool in my head.

While the animation might be off and cringe, when they pull it off well, it can form a lasting memory with not just the perky song but also a cool visual.

I cringe so hard at idol music that I just want to lie down and die. However my MC in Sleeping Princess loves that stuff to death and I don't understand why.

Strange? Nah, I'm a weeb, those kind of music are expected.
Cringe? Depends on the dose, I guess; I remember cringed much more at Love Live! Niji compared to previous seasons, probably because they have 1 song per episode (or so I think).

Do I like them? I guess not, definitely not my pick. Ironic, I consider myself a turbo weeb, but would rather listen to something else.

G'lord yep, I avoid them like the plague. I barely made it alive when I saw the dance number on Kyoukai no Kanata so when my friend put Uta no Cringe-sama I killed her on the spot.... haha kidding. But seriously, no I do not like them. I'd rather watch Junji Ito.

Nah, I find it cute. It’s enjoyable, just like any other music; it just gives off different vibe.

Eh, I like it better than country or Mexican polka. I mean country music literally has increased suicide rates of listeners compared to pop/rock/rap. And Mexican polka has that same fucking tuba as the base in every song.
