When I was younger, I started to think about the difference between what is good and what I like.
Started to think about
What is technically brilliant?
What is "morally" good as a piece of media?
What is groundbreaking?
What is a work that contributes to social discourse?
What is resonating with the human condition?
What is mechanically mind-blowing?
What is pure pleasure?
What is primally reactive?
What is provocative?
What is "fun"?
What is "Good"?
I wondered how these elements jived with what I like?
So is the question?
Do you find yourself wondering? Do you like something because it's good? Or is it good because you like it?
