Subject: Feature Request: Direct Reader Notification System

**Dear Scribble Hub Team,**

I hope this message finds you well. As an active author on Scribble Hub, I greatly appreciate the platform's dedication to fostering a vibrant community of writers and readers. I am writing to suggest a feature that I believe would enhance the communication between authors and their readers.

Feature Request: Direct Reader Notification System

Currently, authors need to use author notes within chapters to relay important information to their readers. While effective, this method may not always reach readers promptly or efficiently, especially if they have already read the latest chapter.

Proposed Feature:

Author Dashboard Notification Tool: A tool within the author dashboard that allows authors to send direct notifications to their readers.
Customizable Notifications: Options to send updates on release schedules, announcements, or other important information.
Reader Preference Settings: Allow readers to customize their notification preferences to receive updates via email or on the platform.

Benefits:

Enhanced Communication: Ensures readers receive timely updates directly from authors.
Improved Reader Engagement: Keeps readers informed and engaged with the latest news and announcements.
Streamlined Author Experience: Simplifies the process for authors to communicate important information without relying solely on author notes.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe it will greatly benefit both authors and readers, enhancing the overall user experience on Scribble Hub. I look forward to your feedback and hope for the potential implementation of this feature.

Best regards,
Magicknight

You can get this by following the author. Whether they actually post anything or not is a toss-up. Or relative if they have several works at any one time and you only want specific information on one. It would be great if they could incorporate a per story system to the existing notifications.

Yes, i won't have to write on author note everytime i want inform my readers. It is inefficient and ineffective.

Meh, I would be a reader who would opt out of this. I only want to read the authors notes/comments, when I open the authors stories to read them. But that is just me.

Did you use AI to write this wall of text? I used AI to summarize it for me lol
And I agree with Kenjona.

I think having the option to have the author's note specific for the chapter or to broadcast it to every chapter in the story is a better and simpler alternative. If you want it in multiple stories, you'll only need to copy-paste it into that other story and opt for it to be shown in every chapter as well. Although it's not fully automated, it takes much less effort.
