I was wondering what was the difference between book hate like when someone is jealous of your book and gives you a low rating. And book dislike when someone feels like your book isn't good and gives you a low rating.

If someone disliked your book, they will just leave you a bad rating and that's it.

If someone hated your book, they will try to express their hatred by spamming derogatory comments in your book, profile, and private message in addition of leaving bad ratings.

One is pure hate for no reason or because they are simply being petty. The other is because your story's quality is subpar to thier tastes duh? Its pretty self explanatory.
