Like every other writer that loves their stories like their own little children, but have such cold hearts to their characters...
It's very funny. I create a new character, I'm in love. I know them well, they speak to me regularly. Then as the story progresses, their actions become incomprehensible, leaving me to flounder about, trying to make it make sense to readers. When I get fed up, I just kill them. It's either me or them, and I'll always choose me.

I haven't progressed that far yet in developing stories and characters so thankfully haven't really thought killing which character left and right yet.
Ofc, that's a bit different for another story, where the protagonist is supposed to die near the beginning of the story.

Just focus on the story, with leaving out the descriptions and stuff.

… Wait this is actually pretty good… Why the fuck didn’t I enjoy this when I was writing it? Why was I killing myself with worry and pain for 100 chapters and now I’m looking back on this and I actually got something here? Well I’m never gonna be that good again…so here enjoy. Just let me spend several days editing these few lines so they’re absolutely fucking perfect only they’re not fucking perfect but they’re gonna be perfect next time I edit them for several days.
That’s just one mood but predominantly I much prefer everything I’ve created in retrospect than in the process of creation. Often my writing either jumps fast through too much stuff for readers to keep up with it or I spin my wheels for 2000 words and then I spin my wheels for 2000 more and then I spin my wheels for another 2000 I’ll dropping a hint and then we’re spinning for another 2000 and then let’s just go for another 2000 of navel gazing and then maybe another 2000 of talking about clothing… at least I’m not describing food in exacting det… no wait, I am. And this is why I never actually finish anything.
