Democracy in strength based world

Democracy is only on paper, bro. The populus don't decide the most important things, we're given to choose is multiple shitty options. Like when we chose the President, we don't decide if some person can qualify for ellection or not. We're just voting among the people chosen by the Political Parties themselfs.

The ones who call the shots disregard the people's choices all the time. If the living conditions are good, you have everything (food, services, entertainment etc) and you decide to go against the system they punish you by kicking you out of the system. And being kicked out means you loose everything (good food, services, entertainment, safe lifestyle etc).

Do you think people want to pay taxes or at least such high taxes? If it were all about people's needs or choices, they would chose not to pay taxes. But that doesnt benefit the people at the top. And so we dont have that option.

Democracy is overrated, or at least nothing a lot better than other political system. Without the human rights aspect and all thise new tehnology, democracy wouldnt be shite. Also, if corruption is low and people in charce are fair, even a Dictatorship would be Haven. Can you imagine, one intelligent, skilfull and fair person making all the decision?That would be infinitly more better than letting morons decide what we should all do.

So yeah, you can have a democracy like it is in the real world too. Most people have to abide by the rules and regulations, but a select powerfull people do whatever they want.

Taxes are necessary, how much taxes and what they finance is the questionable bit.

Of course you can disagree, there are alternatives, but I doubt they're serious.

Yeah, that's true. There could be alternatives, but they're hard to implement.

Like in my country, some businessmen wanted to build a road with their own money. Haha. But the state just wouldnt let them. Somewhere out there a politician couldnt steal from the budget anymore if someone built a road for free.

I guess the best alternative would be a comunity based society. A tribalic setting, where people dont even need money. They only exchange goods, grow and build everything they own and when there's a need for a project everyone goes and help with the work.

But that wouldnt work with all the complexity of a modern society.

Best case scenario we invent robots that do everything for us, while we chill in some VR room. Lol.
