Damn it that's my next project .Wish I had written at least a draft by now...

But really as a death game reader in the past. I would recommend the manga "Real account" that was a fun manga despite the premise on face value.

I personally love death games, and Jinrou Game is one of my favorites. There's three manga based on the novels if I remember correctly, and also dramas based on those manga. Also, Duds Hunt is an interesting one that I based my own story, Dregs Game, off of. Not necessarily a death game, but definitely in that same vein. Torikago no Tsugai is really really great too, another personal favorite.

They're all manga though, save for Jinrou Game. Unfortunately I don't know much of any death game novels.

As the Gods Will, Dead Tube(isn't a 100% death game). Both are manga.
