I got Flash banged by opening the site after some cleaning.

I just opened the site for a little before bed and got a message saying the storage is full, so went and cleared things here and there, which also happened to include Chrome cache. That somehow reset default theme of the scribblehub site to white (which is by default if you open the site for the first time.)

Got a flash banged in the dark. Not good, not good at all.

Doesn't need to be dark by default, but a persistent setting (stored in the DB instead of browser memory) for the main site would be nice to have, as forum already handles it.

My Brave browser loves to clear my cache automatically without warning.

It's not brave fault. The setting resides in local storage and has a set lifespan of one week.
All browsers will have same "issue" here.
