My German LitRPG reached 50k words, and I still feel as if I have a long way to go with it! Shortening my writing to 2k per day worked wonders! I am having fun with writing again, instead of rushing from a story to a story!
Also, it reached 200 views! I know, not exactly popular, but I have one subscriber, and I can't be happier!
The best thing? It can't be 1-star bombed because there is no rating on AO3!

It is 11:18, and I am done with my writing, lesson making, and working out/ the hearing of the lesson. Now I can cook in peace, watch MaiLab, and read my 100 pages for the day.
I just love it when I am on top of my tasks!

I got in the flow during my writing today. Before I knew it, I had written 2,900 words. Kind of a bit longer than I told my readers the chapters were going to be, but I am glad that I let the story take me on a journey!

Got another chapter written for Villainess, Retry!, and it was in 5 days, wow! Definitely one of the fastest turnarounds I've had. Now on to the next chapter!

Today I made a language test in German and got 28 points. For C1 were needed only 29...
There is hope! At least I have moved away from the B1 zone! B2 is still good! I must kick my ass in gear! The TestDaF is next September! And that means only one thing:
A cat will be listening to German prattle about fruits, clothes, and opinions on edgy topics pretty soon. On the good side, I have enough fish in the fridge to condition the cat that every time I bring him fish, he will have to purr as I speak. On the bad side, I wanted to eat it myself.
Oh, well.

I took a break, even though my backlog is looking very slim, because I needed it.
I can go back to grinding chapters when I know it's not going to make me sick.

I grilled steaks with soy sauce today. I didn't burn them! I turned them when I finished cutting the onion, again when I was done with the mushrooms, and then when I was done with the potatoes and lastly when I was done with the garlic. And they ended up so juicy! Like, it is hard to describe. Perfectly cooked on the inside, and with juices coming out of them when I cut them up.
And the mushroom sauce... oh...
I washed the dishes as it was shimmering with milk over a weak fire. I used the oil and juices from the stakes to fry the mushrooms, potatoes, onion and garlic. I put the garlic and onion first, of course, with just enough white wine for the aroma, and just a bit of sugar, so it won't end up sour. Only one tablespoon.
What is now in my plate can only be described as creamy.
I didn't burn the sauce! And I didn't need to stay by it! I just followed my nose, and stirred between washing the dishes. My burning meals streak is done with!

I found out that any outlet that is 3-6 feet from a water source is supposed to have a GCFI. I switched out 3 of them with the correct plug so that the kitchen and bathrooms are safer.

I know I already had a win, but now I have a Mega Win! I finished with the creation of lessons for the German Grammar points which have been tripping me up for years! This includes all the points in the Basic German Workbook! So, I think now I have to just work on acquiring new words, my pronunciation, listening, and my writing practice is going to take care of the applying of the grammar. I can now use up to 2 hours more per day for all that, now that I don't need to create my own lessons.

Now, a little disclaimer here: The lessons are not perfect, and they are made with me in mind, so I will share them only with a select few that I am sure won't rip me a new one. But I am so happy that I no longer have to make lessons! Makes me appreciate my teachers more. True heroes!

Anti-cake dungeon delving is being binged! Yes, that happens every weekend, sometimes even during the week, but it is still amazing to know that you have a story, which can be read a year and a little on top after you wrote the ending.

I got another account subscriber on AO3! One more person to read my stories, not just one of them. So happy about that! Now I have 12 subscribers in total. Not much, but it really lets me feel as if I am not writing into the void.

I found a book by Tim Ferriss about cooking in German. I have to admit, I read his 4-hour body book a couple of years ago, and it was very engaging. Hopefully, this new book will teach me a couple of cooking tricks.

Drumroll ...

This is the very first test I didn't make any mistakes in! It didn't have many curveballs, and I think I did so well because I just watched a grammar video while cycling before I took the test, but I am still over the moon!

I overcame my fear of highs and hung up my new curtains. Which for me is big because I normally get jittery by just getting up on a chair.
