Sent kid to school. Kid went to office. Office detected slight fever. My thermometer disagreed before and after the office checked. Now I can't send him to school tomorrow, and I'm redirecting the kid to bed every time he tries to play with something because I'm not feeling so great either, and I don't want a huge mess on my hands.

Kept the child occupied when the "help" the child was offering Dada in assembling the bed started to interfere too much.

Prepared a meal while the child was yelling at me to wash his anus. I've been letting him sit on the toilet and think about how he could learn to do it himself and go back to doing what he wants to do instead of sitting on the toilet for thirty minutes while Mama sings about the bell peppers and other things she's chopping.
