I am unemployed since today. I went to the gym and extended my membership for six months using big chunk of my last wages, less risk that I blow it on booze this way.
then I bought a lot of canned soup and some vodka and got to writing. now I wait in silence for the rage inside to subside.

Completed my to-do list in time for a good sleep.

All the usual stuff. New to-do list is working.

Made lunch for husband to take to work

Took kid to the library, returned books, got new ones, and then he went down for a nap. He was not napping at all when I let him sleep in, and now the naps are back.

Cleaned floor, swapped out chair cover for clean one, started load of laundry.

Cleaned bathroom, gave the toilet a good scrubbing. Cleaned filters and replaced brushes in robot vacuum.

Made watermelon hibiscus lime popsicles

made hummus and sandwiches for the husband

Got the kid outside

Made sure to get enough protein.

Got the kid ready for swimming. Place closed down half an hour before the internet said it would, so the kid only got to spend ten minutes in the water and was really upset.

Calmed kid down after every place we tried to go swimming today was at capacity.

Finally got in a full swim. Got home, showered off, but apparently made the shower too quick. Kid said, "There's sand on your nipple . . . the other nipple is OK."

Used up some dry soup mix that has been sitting in the cupboard for too long.

 

[RepresentingCaution]

Chucked old mattress protector (It was shedding little bits of white rubber everywhere) and put on a new one.

Ordered groceries

Made hummus, hot glued a lot of stuff

Ordered another parenting book
