Too much to list. Husband wants to make himself a proper standing desk, and he keeps pestering me about that and other home improvement stuff like cool things he saw at his brother's place on our trip.

The sitting-standing desk is nice. I built one myself when I remodeled my room a bit to have a computer in it.

My only recommendation if you ever do get one is to get one with a manual crank, 'cuz if the motor in the electronic version breaks, it is stuck- which I saw as a common complaint while I was looking at reviews.

Good to know! I'll bring that up if Husband changes his mind about building it himself and gets horny for an electric one.

I took the first break I've had in 14 years. From 18 to 28 I was homeless and worked my but off juggling the work hobo lifestyle, and being a freelance journalist. I spent 28 through 31 being constantly working, just to make ends meet. Today was the first day I have actually just done nothing.

I emptied the kid's potty. I'm thinking of doing a more thorough clean on that today . . . if I can finish putting away laundry.

Decided which presents to give the kid for Christmas and what to save for his birthday.

Organized the kid's clothes and put aside ones that are too small.

Got the kid dressed and out the door to go see his best friend, then ran back home to make bubble solution.

I took out the trash and did most of the things my husband is supposed to do because he was prepping for a colonoscopy and being a complete wuss about it.

I washed and cut up carrots, grapes, and an apple so Husband would have snacks for the kid and get the kid out of my hair for 3-4 hours. I'm hoping to stuff some stockings while they're out, and maybe stuff mine if I can get in the mood for it.

I cleaned bathroom, that I've been putting off, then did my scheduled 1h workout. Felt good. I'm too old for this. I need a maid.

I wrapped all the gifts. I improvised some Furoshiki from cloth napkins and scarves for the smaller gifts. I'm not Japanese, just an environmentalist.
