Crazy mom lore

I was talking with my mother this evening about my story I’m writing and wanting to create a villain title and she told me to use the “Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” I never knew she had knowledge like this, she hates horror and everything I have no clue how she came to know this. And this story is from 1886 seriously over a 140 years old and she’s knows about this. Anyone else have a mother with crazy knowledge that just random shook your life perspective of them?

“Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” is a rather famous work, it's not surprising she knows about it even if it's not what she would read.

My mom has lived a life I can hardly fathom

Had modern luxuries (telephone) growing up in the 70s. Drove a Jeep around town by 14 but cops didn't care because her dad's a big deal, I guess. Got into fights a lot. Played every sport imaginable, left-handed, including varsity basketball despite seemingly not knowing the rules. Got a master's degree abroad while raising 2 kids and working as a dishwasher at a Chinese restaurant. Traumatized me by letting me watch Passion of the Christ as a kid.
