Wear gloves while typing so your hands don't get too cold. Pocket them when possible.

Carefully dry your hands after washing them so the water doesn't damage them too much. Try not to use harsh soaps. Or boiling/freezing water. >.>

Use hand creams or skin creams to improve health and flexibility. Daily. Vitamins may help as well, either eaten or in creams.

because my hands are fucked up, i can't write well. because it is a pain to move my fingers and type
Try the suggestions above.

Admittedly, warming your hands by putting it into a bowl full of warm water is a good way to solve that. I've tried it myself, it works. It's relieving too, for me at least.

Have you tried Vaseline?
sounds kinky
anything with pig fat in it, will moisturize your hands and prevent dry cracks great.
the most expensive stuff, has lanolin.
the more lanolin, the more expensive.
lanolin, Is pig fat.
don't believe me, fine.
or handle a bunch of raw bacon for a while and don't wash your hands.
feel them, see what's going on.

I work outside in the winter, and I need my gloves off sometimes.
yeah, the skin will split and it can be painful.

Lotions did nothing for my lizard hands. Vaseline is the only thing that worked for me.

if your hands are dry af you need to first moisturize them, moisturizing products for the face are the best, something fluid, several layers if needed

let each layer seep in/dry before applying another layer, when you hands are somewhat soft you can seal it with cream (sheabutter and evening primrose oil are good)

do that for a few days
