I've contacted my usual artist, and she's going to get started on the cover for my next book. I don't know exactly when I'm going to release it. I was thinking in March since that's when the book I'm currently uploading will end, but I might move it up to around January. Either way, I want to have it ready for when I need it.

Here's the description I gave her:

It's set on a dark, foggy/cloudy background. There are two characters: a man and a woman. They are both in their mid-twenties. The woman has light brown skin and long curly black hair. She is wearing a short, tight, black sleeveless dress, a pair of elbow-length fingerless black gloves, a dark blue cloak, and a dark blue wide brimmed, flat topped hat. She is a satyr, so her legs are covered in gray fur, starting at mid-thigh and going down, and she has black cloven hooves for feet. She also has a pair of short curved white horns, the tips of which poke through the brim of her hat. She is holding two daggers: the one in her right hand is silver, and the one in her left is black. She is smirking mischievously.

The man is thin, has white skin, and short, straight black hair. He is wearing a pair of black pants, a pair of plain brown shoes, a chainmail shirt, and a dark green, open fronted robe. The robe has a hood, but he doesn't have it up. There is an emerald in his forehead. It is glowing with a bright green light, and so are his eyes. He is holding out his right hand, and bright green energy (the same color as the gem) is swirling in front of him in the shape of a sword, as if he's controlling it with his mind and forcing it into that shape. He has a grim look on his face.

Both characters are together in the center of the cover, but the man is in front, and the woman is behind and slightly above him so that they're both visible.

I also had an AI put together some mockups, but she can be a little sensitive about people using AI, so I'm only going to show them to her if she wants.

Anyway, I'm always excited to get a new cover! What do you guys think?

Either the leftmost cover or the second to the left one are great.

Would you like to give me a chance to draw the cover art for you in my own style? I’ll make sure to understand your vision clearly before I start working on it. What do you think?
