Recommendations Controversial Novels

I read controversial and experimental novels.
Preferably fantasy, steam-punk, anything that might not be for general.
Not so much of a matured content about sexual stuff...
I mean, I'm not looking for hentai stuff, but if a story is about sexual topics like women's right, lgbt rights, people with disabilities...
So its a serious political and human rights kind of controversial...
It doesn't have to be way up in the game, probably some amateur works with the genre and idea I'm looking for would be great.

Not sure if this would count, but I remember reading a JP Isekai where the MC became terrified of death after transmigrating, hence what started his journey to become a mad scientist with the end goal of becoming an Immortal. The story is full of, well, mad scientist experiments and is very morally grey? Still, It was a pretty interesting read, sadly the translation is very very very slow, which is why I ended up putting it on pause.
