Yes I know that Litrpg and fanfic stuff dominates here. Still I'm sure there must be some good urban stories here as well.

I love post-apocalyptic stuff (no isekai pls). I see some football stories I'm going to check out. Also saw a few quaranteam stories here. Anyone else have something that's good? Please add your recommendations here. I promise I'll leave a review if I like the work.

Just my two cents. The scene is very descriptive. However, I feel like the dialogues are a little flowery. Noone talks like that - unless the scene is something literary.

I feel that the purple prose can be downplayed a little and the scene can flow a little better. I had to reread a few paras over and over to understand what you were trying to say.

While I love good writing (which you are clearly capable of), I feel that your chapter comes across a little too literary.

You can check Kammi Kettu, Sunspot and Life of a Teenage Villainess. All are modern world and without LitRPG, broadly in the Superhero genre.
Or Stray Cat Strut, a near future dystopia under regular attacks by plant aliens. Although it has alien AIs which select people can use to buy weapons, gear and body mods, which you could brand as a LitRPG element.
