You know that SH is a sister site to NU, yes? It's common to use SH for hosting stories for NU.
So, unless you have definitive proof, calling someone a "scammer" is not nice.

I mean, just reach out to them and say if they're the original author, to put on both sites that they're uploading on the other site if you're that worried about it. That should prove there's no scam. Also, what on earth is that second title?

Please reach out to both authors before doing this just to be sure  I say this because one lovely reader left a comment asking if this story was a rip off from another one in a different site. I told him that I'm the same author x) just writing that story here as a second draft to change it up and improve on it.

I'm assuming my case might not be too rare, so be sure to ask. It might be the same author for both stories just trying something new with their old work.

He has already admitted to the translations in a comment. I've reported this profile in the translation thread. This kind of thing isn't uncommon here. If you see translations, try to report them with proof/or put them in the translations thread so others can do that

You might notice the NU page is linking to SH chapters, at least the early ones that are on SH, so it's the same group.
What is an issue is that it's a translation that is not hidden yet, and we already have a thread to handle that.

OP not wrong though. There has been a growing number of scammers on site. Sailus has been delving into this thoroughly, and it keeps happening. A lot of translators are shamelessly acting as if the story is their own in broad daylight.

to the peps saying hi ask and check first, i checked author names, the nu site is clearly a translation, the author names do not match, they have the story hosted in their patron for advanced chapters! there exists out there better translations of this book! I noticed yesterday and only moved when I found the book on the popular this week section! unacceptable! I did not move hastily! everything points to this being a case of stolen content under a rename! You can confirm this yourself! there is no need to check in with the person who did so its not like they would admit fault and apologies!

Well, yes. NU is a site for translations, so it checks out that there is a translation posted there.
And the one on SH was already taken down (or more like, hidden). So problem solved.

If you want more justice, you need to write directly to the site admin. There is a "contact us" at the bottom of the main page.

I WILL NOT BE ASSED TO REPORT STUFF TO THE TEAM SO IF YOU ARE JUST LIKE ME DUMP EM HERE!!!!
This attitude is part of the problem, your actions are letting them get away with it so you have no right to complain if you refuse to report them

The worse thing is that they don't bother changing the title, summary, and character names. Back in SH's early days, they even change the MC's or love interest's gender to change the genre into GL so their stolen story is more popular.

Are you kidding? That's a good thing! It makes it so much easier to catch them.

That's said, there's a proper procedure for this. Accusations without proof will not be accepted.
