It's quite good, but I don't love the font as of now. The lettering is too bright woth the background and makes it a bit harder to read. Additionally the character has, as of now weird perspective.
But looking at the fiverr, I would expect these issues to get resolved for the final art.

(Also make sure you have permission to share the prelim stuff online, the artist should still have ownership for them. Depends on contract and stuffs...)

I'll be checking your book's cover everyday from now on coz the starting prize of that guy's lowest gig was $50 and with $50 if you don't get like a hyper realistic heavenly eternal void shattering ethereal celestial supreme majestic mythical cover then its not worth it?

I'll be checking ur book's cover everyday and if it disappoints me then i'll do justice to those 50-100 bucks by doing something:blob_melt:

I understand that point of view. I personally think it is worth it just through the fact I can ask for revisions as many times as I want. That was the most important point for me. If I don't like any part, or the final product, he will just redo it or alter the points. I show the cover when it is done, please give me your input then too if you can!
Hmm.... Everything's fine but I think u used chatgpt for proofreading ur novel chapters?

Not that I think its a bad thing but saying if what I was thinking is true coz this much use of '—' is always done by ai :blob_melt:

I really appreciate the feedback and the advice. The typography was a bit of my concern as well, but he assured that the final will have a custom font. Thank you for your input.

Thanks, it was just about $150 for unlimited revisions, ebook cover and a few other things. With spine, back, and paper back it was something like $200, but he was flexible and changed the deal.
Wtf bro that looks such a bad to be a commissioned piece?

Like if u put even $20 then you can get something 20X better then this thing?

And how'd u get patrons when u have just 2k views in sh and 9k something views in webnovel and even if you have, it can't be more then 3 then why'd u spend like $200. Your novel also looks like ai filtered and so does this art u r talkin about. I guess this is just a bait?

At the risk of starting the 500th AI debate on SH, looking at the guy's Fiver, I'm quite impressed at the quality of his work. My understanding is he largely uses AI tools to generate his imagery and then uses his graphical design to arrange the cover and make any adjustments in Photoshop.

That said, I would be more than happy if I paid £170 for his premium package, which might be 4-6 hours of work for him, and I got this in response:

I think this looks great. Covers like this are more than just AI gen; they require knowledge, experience, and talent in graphics design.
I can easily imagine something like this sitting in Waterstones or another bookshop.

How much would it cost you to pay someone who created this cover with no AI tools? How many hours? I can easily see this costing more than a thousand pounds or dollars, and if you went to a true professional, probably several thousand.

To OP: I think the image looks good but the font needs to stand out and be more easily readable.

Criticism:

I've seen many book covers, even LNs. However, I would rather pay the artist to create it (from scratch). It's not because it doesn't look good. Because, I wanted the artist skill not to rot (not becoming COD: MW3 skins).

AI is good. But you wouldn't know that it uses someone's art style. It could give a big backlash (because you wouldn't know). Even though the chances are low. Currently AI is on hot waters in society. I would rather avoid it for the time being, until society fully accept AI Integration into normal lives in the next coming decades.

Can you give an example of something you believe is significantly better for $50? I'm very interested as I'm looking to commission a cover.
