Comfort food has the power to transport us to much simpler times, raise our spirits, give warmth, and bring a sense of security. It may be nostalgia carrying it or simply your taste buds. But, on the topic, what is your comfort read/watch? Something you'd like to watch or read after a day's hard work to relive the pent-up stress (if you just don't want to shower and sleep, that is).

For me it is, 'non non biyori.'

It is an iyashikei slice of life story about a few girls living their lives in the countryside—calm, peaceful, and with no strings attached. If you haven't watched it, I really recommend it!
Seriously, though, why is Hotarun 5cm taller than me when she is only 11 (161cm) ( ≧Д≦)

P.S. By comfy read, I didn't mean under the blanket or near the fireplace on a winter holiday with a cup of hot cocoa in hand.

Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue.
Both anime and visual novel are the best and cured me out of severe depression

Comfort movies are cheesy or over-the-top Sci-Fi Action, I usually have Doom, Dredd, Starship Troopers, and Resident Evil on a loop in the background. TV shows would probably be Vampire Diaries (I gotta get my mindless vamp fix somewhere), Lost in Space and Altered Carbon Season 1.

I don't think I have a comfort read but I do go and reread things I enjoyed. Original Dragonriders of Pern trilogy (and Harperhall Trilogy) is probably the thing I've reread the most.

My comfort watch is probably Danganronpa play throughs.
My comfort read is “Please Don’t Tell My Parents I’m a Supervillain.”
