The line art is really well done.
The colors don't suit the character at first glance, but at the same time, it isn't bad, or anything of the sort. It's well done. It's good.
In my own head, I saw it much much different seeing the line-art first. but that's art. It's subjective. My vision wouldn't be the same as any one else's; Not completely anyway. Either way, Goodjob, How-a-buddy-of-mine-colored-a-drawing-of-the-character-in-my-novel, you did great.
Just for future reference, post the colored picture first, so the first thing people see is the artwork. Seeing the line art first allows people to get their own notions of what it should look like. Even if it's only a 2 second glance, the mind works much faster than the scroll wheel on the mouse.
Allowing people to soak in the destination, then showing them the road leading up to it, will have them more inclined to follow along... Rather than seeing the road, and deciding there, and then, if the destination is even worth it to begin with. *Finger guns: pew pew
