So like I want one of the character in my novel dead but I don't know how to do it, I mean I know the scene I'm picturing it in my head but I don't know how should I write it so that the atmosphere will be sad or something? But it's not like I want the readers to cry, I just want the readers to atleast feel sympathy to the character, I mean she's sacrificing herself for mc's survival...

Up to you. And up to how you set up the character and the interactions other characters have with that person so far.

Eh many ways to write, and idk how you set it up so cant give much. I can give a very rushed example thu. An example could be the characters look over her dead body. They're not really there to mourn her, just reflecting or some deep thought.

She dies. [Yada yada scene.]

They look at her body. What a pity. To sacrifice her life all for what? The person whom she loved have quickly found a new attachment at their arm.

At the end of the day, it didn't matter how much they loathed her before and her meddlesome ways in their business. The person was gone. And already replaced.
