Chapter Titles and irrational obstinance

I don't know why, but I was really resistant to the idea of adding chapter titles. I preferred to just number them.

Thing is, most sites automatically number them and I use prologues and that just throws everything off. So I got over it and wanted to show off the newly-minted chapter titles of Shadow's Call:

Well... you SHOULD number them as a baseline, then add a title afterwards for flavour... titling isn't the be-all end-all, just nice.

I did...but you can't tell the sites that the prologue is Chapter 0, the overall effect was basically "Chapter 2:Chapter 4". Not confusing at ALL...

Yeah, that is a source of frustration for Webnovel authors. Some sites add the numbers automatically, while others force you to do it. A minor pet peeve for me is when technology tries to do something automatically for me but does it in the wrong way so I understand you wanting to make a prologue and it numbering it automatically.

I had fun adding titles to my chapters and tying them into the subject matter in my stories.
Book 1, Trains And Training Wheels, best 3:
A - The Key To The Lock (Chp11)
B - I See London, I See France (Chp10)
C - All Change (Chp6)
Book 2, Sixes And Sevens, best 3:
A - Down North And Up South (Chp 7)
B - Doctor Whats-name (Chp4)
C - Wet, Wet, Wet (Chp5)

I'm always clear about which order my chapters are in. I always structure my titles like "Chapter(#): (Title that describes the main focus of the chapter)." It's clear, and it gives the story flavor.
